Soft morning light rising over an open landscape

Addiction counselling built on experience, understanding and a belief that change is possible.

Whether you're struggling with addiction yourself or looking for support for someone you care about, Rod offers a confidential, non-judgemental space to talk, understand what's happening and explore a way forward.

You don't have to figure it all out on your own.

Taking the first step can be difficult. You may be worried about your own relationship with alcohol or drugs, concerned about someone close to you, or simply unsure about what to do next.

Rod offers a confidential, non-judgemental space where you can talk openly, understand what you're experiencing and explore a different way forward.

Support can begin with a conversation.

A safe place to talk

For many people, reaching out for help is one of the hardest steps they will take.

Rod’s approach is centred on creating a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment where people can talk openly about what they are experiencing.

Counselling can help people understand the patterns affecting their lives, explore the issues behind addictive or compulsive behaviours, and begin to identify healthier ways forward.

Understanding can make a difference

Rod’s own experience has given him a particular understanding of the challenges that addiction can create for individuals, families and relationships.

This experience, combined with more than 25 years of professional counselling work and continued training, informs his compassionate and practical approach.
